Q: Which data center is closer to my location
A: You can go with any location you like and enable the CDN that we have included in the package.
Do you know how CDN works?
It replicates your website on CDN nodes all over the world and when your visitors access your website he loads it from the closest CDN node that is next to them. Luckily we have many CDN nodes in the middle east including one in Doha (list of all CDN nodes location you can find here: https://www.cloudflare.com/network )
Q: How to increase php memory limit?
A: You can easily do that from your cPanel > Select PHP version > Switch to PHP options http://prntscr.com/odgbyw and then choose the amount of memory that you wish to use http://prntscr.com/odgc5l
Q: I registered a domain name but I do not see it in the drop down menu in Softaculous
A: That is because the domain name do not have a DNS zone created on the server. You can easily do that by adding the domain as an Addon slot from your cPanel. (DNS zone for an additional domain can be created if you set the domain as Aliase from cPanel and in that case it will be redirected to the main domain of your website)
N.B. You will not see the domain as an option to create emails, sub domains FTP accounts etc if it does not have DNS zone, so that is pretty important
Q: When you are transfer a domain over to FastComet, is the already purchased time lost?
A: Once the transfer is completed we will add one more year to the domain name expiration date that will be a part of our service (this is the case for .com .net .org etc always check that per domain)
Q: Can I change my data center location later on?
A: Of course, you can do that at any time and we will do the migration for you as a part of our services
NB: Be aware of any downtime caused by DNS propagation. Client has to follow our instruction strictly if the domain name is not hosted with us to avoid any downtime
Q: I see 35Gb as total space , which I suppose included the mail space too ?
A: That is correct emails are included in the storage space
